Message from the Principal

Principal Chris Dintino standing in front of a blue door with a sign that reads, 'Through These Doors Pass The Greatest Children In The World'.

At the Forestdale School, our mission reminds us every day of who we are and what we value: We grow readers. We are a family of learners. We are safe, have fun, and are kind to one another, and we never give up. These guiding principles shape every classroom, hallway, and interaction within our school community. Whether students are exploring new stories, collaborating on projects, or building friendships, we are committed to creating an environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. Our focus on literacy and the joy of reading remains at the heart of our work, ensuring that all students develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

As we move through the year together, I am continually proud of the care, perseverance, and positivity our students demonstrate each day. Teachers, families, and staff play an essential role in nurturing the Forestdale spirit—one where kindness is expected, safety is prioritized, and learning is celebrated. Thank you for being partners in fostering a school culture where children feel encouraged to take risks, persist through challenges, and embrace the fun of learning. With your continued support, Forestdale will remain a place where every student knows they belong and where we truly never give up.

Warm regards,
Chris Dintino

All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.

ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home. Learn more and get started today by viewing our ParentSquare web page.
